Our Policies

  • Seneca Lake Cabins has a no pet policy, to protect our guests who have pet allergies. A pet on the premises will result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
  • We have a two night minimum stay. 
  • A $125 deposit is required to confirm your reservations.
  • Deposits are not deducted from cabin rental but are held up to 10 days after checkout (until inspection for damage, excessive cleaning, pets, additional overnight guests and / or theft is complete). Usually deposits are sent out within one to two days.
  • Cancellation Policy: No refund 14 days prior to reservation.
  • Smoking is permitted outside the cabins only (to maintain a smoke-free environment for people with allergies, etc.)
  • Guests must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a cabin, and alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited by persons under the age of 21.
  • The guest agrees to leave property in the same condition as in which it was originally rented to him/her.
  • The guest agrees to pick up cans, bottles, paper and garbage from the surrounding grounds before leaving.
  • The guest agrees that no all-terrain vehicles or motorcycles will be ridden on the grounds.
  • Tent, trailer or RV camping is prohibited.
  • Fires outside designated fire rings are prohibited.
  • Hunting and target practice is prohibited.
  • Seneca Lake Cabins is not responsible for lost or stolen property or any injuries due to accidents by cabin guests or their visitors.

To check (for all of our cabins) in go to the office at the top of the drive, by the fire tower.  Office closes at 6pm.  Late arrivals by appointment only.

Please call the day of your arrival so we know when to be here to check you in and give you your cabin orientation.  Your account balance should be settled up when you check in so you will not be delayed finding us on the day of your departure.
