Golfing / Hiking

There are 2 golf courses within a short driving distance from our cabins; Robin's Ridge: (740) 685-6029 and Whiskey Run: (740) 679-2442.

For guests interested in hiking we offer private hiking trails on the land surrounding our cabins, including a section of the Buckeye Trail, and nearby Seneca Lake Park offers numerous public hiking trails.

The Great Guernsey Trail
A 6 mile trail for walkers, equestrians and bicyclists that stretches from Corduroy Road east of Cambridge to Lore City.  Parking is provided at both ends of the trail.
 

 

Swimming / Boating

Nearby Seneca Lake offers a life-guarded beach with a bath house and a concession stand. For guests who are interested in boat rentals, please contact Seneca Lake Marina at (740) 685-5831.  Please note: Our cabins are not lake front, and we do not have docks. For boating activities, you will need to visit the near-by Marina.

The Wilds
The Wilds is one of the largest and most innovative wildlife conservation centers in the world. Located on nearly 10,000 acres in southeast Ohio, it is home to rare and endangered species from around the world living in natural, open-range habitat, as well as home to hundreds of indigenous species. In addition to innovative, in-depth science and education programs, the Wilds offers guided experiences to the public on selected days May through October.
